Janine & Jonathan were married on a rainy day at Mount Pocono United Methodist Church. We had been looking forward to this wedding for month's since we had met Janine & Jonathan and it is one we won't soon forget! The rainy foggy day, the stain glass windows and architecture of the church, the patterns and textures at Pocono Manor as well as the stone exteriors of the buildings couldn't have set a better stage for Janine & Jonathan's Pride and Prejudice themed wedding. The day was made even more special with Jonathan's Father officiating their wedding.
We had such a great time working with this sweet couple! Congratulations Janine & Jonathan! Janine, we are so happy that you found your Mr. Darcy and Jonathan that you found your Elizabeth.
We started the day at Pocono Manor to get some pre-shots of the ladies. This location is fantastic for photos. Janine had happened to come across this library-esque setting in the Pizzeria at Pocono Manor.
We headed back to Mount Pocono UMC for Janine & Jonathan's beautiful ceremony and some post-ceremony shots with family, friends, and the bridal party.
We headed back to Pocono Manor with Janine & Jonathan to get some great Bride and Groom shots. Even though it was rainy that Pocono fog helped illuminate eveything and give some some great lighting conditions.
I'm a sucker for details and DIY projects so this wedding made my heart swell! Janine made her own bouquets and decorations. I loved all of the Pride and Prejudice quotes on every table <3
We were so exciting that Janine & Jonathan had a send off. They used lavender instead of rice being bird considerate and it smells great :)
